Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig 21st September, 1983). 21, 1983) is a well-known American actor. Most notably, she played Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV series and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. After her parents' divorce the actress left Worthington in Ohio and moved in Los Angeles. Even though she had financial difficulties in 2001, her debut came as Rachel's Room's primary character. In 2002 she was nominated for a Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murdered Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford's role she played in Lost from 2004 until 2005 was selected for an Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was keen to pursue film following her role as Tom Welling's character on The Fog, in 2005. In addition, she appeared in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) as well as opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in the year 2008. The same character was played by Grace on Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace played the role of Shannon in two more episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. She is a member of the Gyllenhaal Family she's the daughter and older sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. She started her acting career when she was a teenager, playing small roles in several of the films of her father and starred together with her brother in popular cult film Donnie Darko (2001). She also was featured as a character on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. She also appeared on Mona Lisa Smile (2003). The leading roles of Gyllenhaal in Secretary, an erotico-romantic comedy, as well as Sherrybaby (a dramatic) received her nominations for Golden Globe Award. She gained wider recognition for her role as Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) due to the success of several commercial films she starred in in 2006.
