Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress, best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. Her career began in the late 1980s, and rose to prominence with her performance in the Tezaab film, in which she appeared with an established actor Anil Kapoor. Her next appearance was in Dil which she shared screen space with Aamir. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she was able to learn dancing at a young age. She started acting when an infant and was struggling for several years because the majority of her first film projects were unsuccessful. Then she found her feet and went on to become one of the most prominent actresses in the Indian film business. Following her marriage she had a career break before reentering the film industry. In recent times, she was in a prominent performance in Gulaab Gang. The film focused on the struggles of women across India. Dixit was awarded fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which, eight were awarded. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, the fourth most prestigious civil award in India. Her fame is based on her social works as well.
