Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico was born into the music-loving parents of her family. The majority of her early years listening to classic music, boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music along with older classical songs. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as drama and opera. Her mother taught her to sing. However, she started intensive vocal training with Flavio Belcerra at 16 when Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera tenor. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. She sang throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young musician and student. Following her move from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer with traditional Latin American music at private occasions. Her passion for performing, music, and the arts keep active in community projects for both an artist as well as a instructor. Ana was also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
